A little bit about Our Story

We’ve known each other for almost 12 years, having first met at church. For many of those years, we were simply friends and trust us when we say we never saw each other as anything more. We exchanged smiles, engaged in small talk and served in ministry together but we didn’t let ourselves really connect on a deeper level unless, of course it was about the Lord.
Everything changed in 2022. We began talking and getting to know each other. Little did we know, we were both trusting the Lord at the same time with this specific area of our life. And as we spent time together, we felt such a peace in our spirit that could only come from God. It became clear that this was something worth pursuing.
After many confirmations from the Lord and our loved ones, we knew it was always God’s plan to bring us together in His perfect timing. We decided to honour God and to do things His way. We got to experience the best of times together, but we’ve also went through some pretty tough and challenging times. However, one thing we always did was trust God with this relationship no matter what.
Now, as we prepare to walk into our God-given roles as husband and wife, our greatest desire is for our love to point to the greatest love of all - Jesus Christ who loved His church and gave himself up for her.
Our union is for His glory - not only to reflect Christ’s sacrificial love for His Bride the Church but to demonstrate the glory that is to come soon - Christ’s return for His Bride.
Revelations 19:7 ‘‘Let us rejoice… and give Him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready’’.
